Diagnosis & Prevention 

The most important part of treating any disease or other medical problem successfully lies in accurate diagnosis and meticulous treatment planning. Until you get to know us, you may feel we spend an inordinate amount of time diagnosing your problem and then reconfirming our own diagnosis. Please be patient - getting the diagnosis right is the key to any successful treatment and to getting you back on track and healthy as quickly as possible.

It is important to us that our patients always be fully informed about the care they receive. Once we know how we are going to approach your problem we will sit down with you and fully explain how we arrived at our diagnosis, all of your treatment options and also answer any financial or insurance questions related to your care, all before we begin any treatment.        

 You may also find that we have made available literature and that we spend a lot of time talking about good diet and home care, particularly with our younger patients. That is because we believe that our most important job is that of education. It is our philosophy that the best kind of care is preventive care and at Glick Dental Associates we strive to give you the information and the tools to stay healthy and to help you help your kids to develop good healthy habits too.

When it comes to kids today, things like fluoridated water, dental sealants, good diet, rotary toothbrushes and of course regular well care visits to the dentist, have almost made decay and gum disease a thing of the past.
