Dr. Glick has been in practice in Solon, Ohio since joining his father, Dr. Sidney L. Glick, in practice in 1984. Since the senior Dr. Glick's retirement, Dr. Fred Glick has been the President and senior dentist at Glick Dental Associates for 25 years. Dr. Glick lives in Russell, Ohio with his three sons, Jesse, Charlie and Max.
Dr. Glick is proud of the tradition of dentistry in the Glick family. The Glick name has been well known in the dental profession for over 80 years and Dr. Glick has several relatives either practicing and/or teaching dentistry in California, Nevada, and Ohio.
Dr. Glick is working toward his Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry representing the prestigious organization's highest level of achievement in all phases of general dentistry. Dr. Glick was a pioneer in the field of dental implants in the 1980's and continues to be on the cutting edge of implant technology. Dr. Glick particularly enjoys reconstructive cosmetics, oral surgery and orthodontics. He also takes great pleasure in serving the dental needs of children.
Dr. Glick is a member of of several professional and honorary organizations including, ADA, ODA, CDS, AAI, AAE, AAO and AGD.

Maemie M. Chan, DMD, has been in the practice of general dentistry since 2009 and has been associated with Glick Dental Associates since 2010.
Dr. Chan has interest in all aspects of general dentistry but has a special interest in oral surgery and cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Chan is a graduate of Purdue University, with a Bachelor of
Arts degree in psychology and a concentration in behavioral
neuroscience. She then received her dental degree from Case Western
Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, where she held
multiple leadership positions.
Following this, Dr. Chan did additional residency training at
St. Vincent’s Charity Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, which included
advanced instruction in endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral
surgery.
Dr. Chan is a member of the Greater Cleveland Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Women Dentists. Currently, Dr. Chan is pursuing a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a selective and prestigious honor reflective of her commitment to ongoing continuing education.

Hygienists
Our Hygiene department is simply second to none. Your periodontal (gums and bone surrounding your teeth) health is our hygienists only concern and they are dedicated to making sure that you keep your sparkling smile for a lifetime. They are particularly wonderful with kids and strive to make your child's well care visits fun and stress free. We welcome parents and siblings into the treatment room with small children to help to support and relax them during their appointment and so that you can be a part of the dental health educational experience and get answers to any questions you may have about everything from growth and development, to nutrition and home care products.
If they are that conscientious and gentle with your children, imagine how comfortable and pleasant your own preventive care appointments can be.
Expanded Functions Dental Assistants
Additionally, each doctor works in conjunction with a an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, highly trained in their own right and licensed by the State of Ohio to perform many of the functions and procedures traditionally performed by the dentist. Utilizing an EFDA allows your dentist to concentrate more completely and efficiently on the more intricate and critical aspects of your care. We know you will be pleased to find that you spend less time in the dental chair than you expected and enjoy a higher quality, safer and more comfortable visit, usually at a surprisingly more reasonable fee than ever before.
In addition to their training, each of our EFDA's have a minimum of ten years of hands on experience in the dental field before they become part of the team at Glick Dental Associates.
Insurance specialists and treatment coordinators
Our friendly and efficient administrative staff are focused on making sure your family's appointments are scheduled conveniently and that you are seen on time. They will accurately complete and file any insurance paperwork for you and ensure that you are reimbursed quickly and fairly by your insurance carrier. Their unique experience and close relationships with all of the major insurance carriers and local human resources departments means that they can get you answers to your financial questions so that you and your doctor can concentrate solely on your dental treatment and the rest of your busy day, instead of worrying about time consuming and frustrating financial and insurance issues.
